Question What is the acidity level of your olive oil?
Answer

Our Virgin Olive Oil has a free fatty acidity level between 0.8% and 2.0%. This range ensures a smooth palate and a balanced aroma that complements various dishes perfectly.

Question What does "Cold Pressed" mean?
Answer

Cold pressing means the olives are processed at a temperature never exceeding 27°C (80.6°F). This method preserves the natural vitamins, minerals, and the delicate fruity aroma of the olives without heat damage.

Question Why does olive oil freeze or become cloudy? Does this affect quality?
Answer

Olive oil naturally begins to crystallize and solidify at temperatures below +4°C (39°F). This is a natural process and a sign of purity. Once it returns to room temperature, it restores its liquid form without losing any quality or nutritional value.

Question How should I store my olive oil?
Answer

Olive oil has four enemies: light, heat, air, and moisture. It is best to store your oil in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed. Our dark glass bottles are specifically designed to provide this protection.

Question Can Virgin Olive Oil be used for frying?
Answer

Yes, it can. Virgin olive oil has a smoke point of approximately 210°C (410°F), which is suitable for most frying and sautéing. Its lightness makes it a healthy and reliable choice for both hot meals and frying.

Question Do your products contain any preservatives or additives?
Answer

No. Our olive oils are obtained from 100% natural olives. They contain no preservatives, colorants, or chemical additives; it is simply the pure essence of the olive, straight from nature.

Question When do you release your new harvest products?
Answer

Our olives are harvested every year during October and November. After a brief resting period, these fresh oils are typically made available to our customers as "New Harvest" starting in December.
